Truly iconic and an international star, Piaf led a tragic life which translated onto her songs. Her life has been turned into plays, musicals and a film. Of the twenty-five songs chosen for this CD, twenty-four were recorded in the early 1960s in stereo and the better known include "Milord" and "Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien".
