Vocal Jazz
Vocal jazz is a loosely-defined style of jazz, led by a singer rather than instrumentalists. Much like jazz instrumentalists, vocal jazz repertoire is typically based around jazz standards, including popular songs and showtunes. Popular jazz vocalists include Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holiday, Sarah Vaughan, Louis Armstrong, and Nina Simone.
