‘Indispensable Vivaldi’ is a special product being released at mid-price to celebrate the ‘Venice–Vivaldi–Versailles’ festival that took place in the Château de Versailles this summer. It presents a selection of the pieces that were performed during the festival by the artists present at the concerts, including Concerto Italiano and Rinaldo Alessandrini, Ensemble Matheus and Jean-Christophe Spinosi, I Barrochisti and Diego Fasolis, and Le Concert des Nations directed by Jordi Savall – and is effectively a ‘Best of Vivaldi’.
