Can music challenge social conventions and become a platform for meaningful dialogue? Transgression revisits the Western chamber music tradition as a symbolic exploration of human values that feel increasingly out of reach. In a world driven by power and the superficial allure of consumerism, is the ability to give and receive, to listen as well as speak, becoming a forgotten art? The world premiere of Transgression took place on 10 December 2024 at the BKA in Berlin, performed by the Modern Art Ensemble.
