A cantata with the following structure: three voices, two accompanying treble instruments (in this case trumpets) and a piano. The chorale verses are interpreted and deepened by Bible verses and performed by a narrator. This cantata is therefore ideal for the arrangement of a church service. It can be used flexibly and can be performed in parts at various points in the service. The underlying well-known melody makes this work recognizable for all churchgoers, while Arning's various movements impressively illustrate the text.
