This music was written in memory of John Cage whose artistic work and friendship illuminated much of my life in the late eighties and very early nineties. I envisaged a tribute made by a 'fluorescent' haze of sound created by sustained timbral particles being shifted in space. Each voice is intended as a solo instrument and an independent source of timbral variations through constant vowels changes and harmonics production. The spatial arrangement of the singers is related to the vocal ranges of the eight voices.
