About
Arnold Cooke's music was strongly influenced by his tutor Paul Hindemith, as well as Bartók and Shostakovich. This three movement work for recorder and string orchestra was written in 1959, and was recorded by John Turner and Manchester Camerata for the Over the Water CD in 2007. It has now been published in sheet music form for the first time by Forsyth Publishing.
