The inspiration behind this work was Stephen King's novel "The Shining" more precisely the character of Jack Torrance, who gradually descends into madness after becoming completely cut off from the world. The main aim behind the design of this work was to fuse the instrumental part as strongly as possible with the electronic layer. The sole means of sound production is a double bass: the electronic layer is based entirely on modifications of its timbres and contains no foreign sounds.
