Sidney Corbett’s Mara is an 8-minute work for two electric guitars. Mara is a Buddhist figure that has two interpretations: they are often a symbol of death, but they also support the seeker on their path to liberation by transforming resistance into positive energy. Mara was premiered by the Duo Conradi-Gehlen on 6. December 2019 at Musica Nova in Reutlingen. This edition (EP 14463) is the score and parts of this work.
