Game Over for trumpet (optionally cornet or flugelhorn) with piano accompaniment is a lively composition with a playful character. The range of the solo part is limited to one and a half octaves, making Game Over an ideal performance or test piece for young musicians. The composition is further enhanced by the rhythmically appealing piano accompaniment. The work was written by Jan Hadermann as an optional piece for his grandson’s trumpet exam, to whom Game Over is also dedicated.
