For many years, Malte Burba's Brass Master Class (ED 8335) has been a standard work for the technical and musical training of brass players. In his new volume, Burba presents a multi-level programme of basic exercises: By specifically developing body awareness and body control, the musician is enabled to identify and solve the causes of problems with sound, endurance and intonation. Each level starts with physical exercises which are then transferred to the instrument and finally solidified by specific exercises.
