This collection of pieces progresses from 'Starting Out' which uses only the first five notes of the horn's C major scale, to the Jamaican Ska influenced romp of 'Brother Rico Plays'. Various other musical styles (and chromatic notes) are introduced along the way, as well as the opportunity to improvise for those students and teachers willing to take the plunge.
