This William Blake text has been set many times. Here, Bryan Greer creates a wonderfully atmospheric mood through the sonorous combination of voices, clarinet, flute, and organ. There is tremendous opportunity for artistic expression and finesse. The piece has lots of pedagogical benefits as well.
