The purpose of Choro Meets Bach is to musically illustrate the similarities between Choro and Bach ’s music. This selection of 15 pieces from Bach ’s vast repertoire (of more than 1,000 compositions), were performed by a Choro ensembles mostly following the same traditional Choro swing and rhythm. For the solo typical instruments used in Choro music are used such as Flutes, Mandolins, Clarinets, and Saxophones. This book also comes with 2 CD's with all 15 tracks being played with and with out the solo.
