The most popular work associated with the name of Albinoni is the spurious but delightful Adagio of Giazotto, apparently based on a genuine fragment by Albinoni himself. This Adagio was created from a scrap of a document rescued from the ruins in Dresden by Italian musicologist Remo Giazzoto.
