GÖRL brings together electronic music pioneers Robert Görl and Sylvie Marks. On Dark Silver Moon Light, the pair channel decades of post-punk and club culture into a taut, rhythm-driven collaboration.

Görl, co-founder of Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft (DAF), helped shape the group’s stark blend of sequenced electronics and brutalist drums. Marks, the first female resident DJ at Frankfurt’s Dorian Gray, later built an international career as a producer and festival performer.

The album draws on the stripped-back pulse associated with DAF, reframing it through a contemporary electronic lens shaped by their long creative partnership.
