This record is an invitation to reflect on both expectations and experiences as a listener towards a well known orchestration of acoustic instruments. Our third full length record in the acoustic setting continues our process of mingling detailed compositions with the trio’s approach towards free improvisation. The idea is to create sonic environments that enable a constant tension between limitation and freedom, insecurity and playfulness.

Roger Kintopf, Leif Berger and I have been coming together for over six years now to explore ourselves within these realms. Our ambition is to make music that is filled with love and warmth; and that is a never ending search to figure out ways to express joy, struggle and acceptance through sound.

As the world is getting progressively derailed, I hope that this album offers some serenity and a place to experience time differently.
