Mona Krogstad sees music as one of the most beautiful forms of communication we humans create with one another, and is fascinated by how the language of music can encompass so many images, emotions, and moods.

The music draws inspiration from both the jazz tradition and contemporary Nordic jazz, with references to Wayne Shorter, Joe Henderson, and a lyrical, Scandinavian tonal language.
