eX.II – Jazz Is Punk is the 4th full-length project from Berlin-based, Caribbean-American vocalist and composer Sera Kalo. Recorded live at Brewery Studios (Berlin), the album merges free jazz, punk energy, experimental electronics, spoken word, and spiritual protest into a genre-fluid manifesto.

With a rotating cast of award-winning musicians, Jazz Is Punk moves between meditative ancestral memory and raw, body-shaking groove. It’s a record of resistance, vulnerability, and transformation - where noise becomes prayer, and melody becomes fire.

The album follows her critically praised debut eXante (O-Tone Music) and includes previously released singles Afeni, This Ain’t New, and The Ripples of Her Melody.
