daltonists is an experimental trio [genre: leftfield jam], referring by name to colour blindness, an inborn defect of vision. The handicap of human nature has become the idée fixe of the line-up, the main inspiration and motivation for creation. The musicians attempt to combine the colours of contemporary jazz, afrobeat, dub, African and club music, as well as music that is difficult to define unequivocally.
