About
Irreversible Entanglements’ self-titled debut album, originally released in 2017, captures the first explosive meeting of Camae Ayewa (Moor Mother), Luke Stewart, Keir Neuringer, Aquiles Navarro, and Tcheser Holmes. Born from a “Musicians Against Police Brutality” event, the group forged a powerful blend of free jazz improvisation and urgent spoken word, channeling the spirit of Black liberation with unflinching clarity.
As adventurous as any contemporary avant-garde jazz recording, but direct in its message, Irreversible Entanglements honors tradition while insisting on the future. The IA11 Edition features an International Anthem 2025 obi strip and a new 8-page 11"x11" booklet with unpublished session photos and new liner notes by bassist Luke Stewart.
