The Svyrydov-Kütt-Alaru-Pokratnieks quartet was originally formed to play music on cruise ships. The band soon developed into a creatively dynamic force, united by the musicians’ shared vision and passion for music. This is how their first album was born, featuring the band’s original compositions and arrangements of well-known jazz standards with revised lyrics that reflect more contemporary themes.
