We're thrilled to present 'Shapeshifter', a brand-new album Aarhus Jazz Orchestra & Michael Bladt, arranged in part by band members of the orchestra and produced by none other than Bill Laurance.

For Shapeshifter, the big band presents new music within the fusion jazz genre, written by virtuoso saxophonist Michael Bladt. Each number is arranged by a musician from the orchestra, each of whom has put blood, sweat and tears into giving the audience the creme de la creme of new Danish fusion jazz. The music ranges widely within the fusion genre; from intensely orchestrated rhythmic interplay to open atmospheric soundscapes and is inspired by the sound of, among others, Snarky Puppy, Ben Wendel and the Brecker Brothers.
