Anne Hartkamp stands for intensity, diversity and artistic individuality, an "outstanding voice", brilliant improvisational ability and sensitive interpretations. She trained in Vienna and at the Amsterdamse Hogeschool voor de Kunsten under Deborah Brown. She has a rich variety of vocal possibilities and moves with masterly ease in complex musical contexts.
