Feeling the intensity of the present has always fascinated me, particularly in Jazz music. While We're Strollin' is an album that I imagined and then composed while cycling in the streets of Paris, with my dictaphone. From the movement of the pedal to the sound and energy of the city, its passers-by, the time, the melodies are created, the tempos, the bass lines, the whole arrangement. I also asked each member of the quartet to contribute a piece on this same idea, to share our colors. I thank the musicians of the quartet for their talent and the passers-by in the city for their constant inspiration.
