This short-lived band was not the more coherent Solid Gold Cadillac, which would get RCA approval, but it's not without virtue […] It's a romp - as befits a big birthday.

About
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Cadillac Music & Publishing they present this special reissue of Cadillac's very first release, legendary British jazz pianist/composer Mike Westbrook's Live from 1973. With additional tracks, mastered by Jon Hiseman of Colosseum, and released with the blessing of Mike, Live 1972 stands out as a document of the Westbrook project in transition, and as a bloody great slab of music in its own right pleated by a brilliant collection of musicians.
Mike Westbrook: electric piano, harmonica
George Khan: electric saxophone
Gary Boyle: guitar
Butch Potter: bass, pongo stick, flu
Alan Jackson: drums, alto saxophone
