Following on from their residency at Bundanon on the NSW South Coast, Claire Cross and Harry Cook present an intimate series of duets for electric bass and acoustic piano.

Claire Cross and Harry Cook's Dialect found its genesis during Melbourne's many lockdowns. After the pandemic, Harry and Claire expanded upon their early collaborative efforts as a duo, undertaking a two week creative residency at the Bundanon Arts Centre in rural New South Wales.

The tunes on this release were forged during that time as the pair were surrounded by the Australian bush. Harry and Claire chose to strip things back and put the focus solely on their core instruments: the acoustic piano and the electric bass. This music is intimate, introspective and overall is an exploration of the creative limitations of the duo.
