'Glimt' is the new album from Slattejazz, a duo made up of Helene Hoye (fiddle) and Ole Sigvard Lunnan (piano). The album comprises 13 songs which they describe as musical paintings and stories about nature and people.

11 of the songs on 'Glimt' are self-composed and two of them are old songs from Gudbrandsdalen. Slattejazz plays traditional music that touches jazz. In 2011, they released their first album, 'Slattehjerte', of traditional Norwegian music to good critical acclaim. With 'Glimt', the duo continues their musical journey with a few steps off the beaten path, but never without the glimpse of the familiar and the beloved, of brilliant people, places and tradition.
