This is a genuinely exciting release from pianist Geoff Eales - featuring his own compositions played by many of the UK's leading musicians including - vocalists Brigitte Beraha, Brenda Ford, Jacqui Hicks and Jenny Howe alongside Geoff Eales, Matt Ridley, Sophie Alloway, Mark Lockheart, Ben Waghorn, Jason Yarde, Andy Findon, Carl Orr and Shirley Smart. The album was due to feature the wonderful vocalist Tina May, who through illness was unable to finish the project, this album is dedicated to her and her enormous contribution to jazz.
