About
All-star collective featuring Renee Rosnes, Anat Cohen, Melissa Aldana, Ingrid Jensen, Noriko Ueda, Allison Miller & Cécile McLorin Salvant release their debut album 'Artemis', a superb nine-song set that features material composed and/or arranged by each of the band's six instrumentalists. 'The group identity emerged organically', Rosnes says, and Artemis discovered a thrilling collective vision early in its lifespan. 'We are seven leaders, each with our own vision and personal point of view, but we play with a unified conception.'

Christmas 2020
This set of animated new pieces moves through a wide range of inspired contemporary material with a rare combination of celebratory energy and grace. That said, we should expect this from any project directed by Renee Rosnes, whose far-sighted melodic sense provides the perfect thread uniting some very talented players.
September 2020
The all women jazz collective's debut showcases their improvisational virtuosity and deeply textured sound.
