About

Previously on The NECKS: 'The greatest trio on Earth' (The New York Times), 'Among the world's greatest forces in music' (The Los Angeles Times) and 'One of the most entrancing live acts in the world' (The Guardian). No Pressure then. Last year they survived a performance 135 metres underground in a Polish salt mine, with the Cracovia Sinfonietta; recording with The Swans and winning the Richard Gill Award for Distinguished Services to Australian Music - and to coincide with this release they're embarking on a substantial tour of Australia that takes in the Sydney Opera House, Perth International Arts Festival and the Museum of Old and New Art, in Tasmania. And they'll be back in Europe on tour in March/April to synchronise neatly with this release. Otherwise. This is a new Studio recording. There are three tracks: Bloom: 21:18 mins Lovelock: 22:48 mins Further: 21:01 mins. And it's by the same band as it's been for the last 33 years: Chris Abrahams: piano, organ, keyboards, Tony Buck: drums, percussion, guitar, Lloyd Swanton: acoustic and electric basses. Produced by The Necks
