Debut album from this exciting new Big Band, who continue to wow audiences with their blend of hip contemporary jazz arrangements, classic charts and some seriously groovesome funk/rock toons. Formed in 2009 by ex NYJO trumpeter, David Shiers and drummer Mark Doffman, Big Colors reaches those parts that other big bands dont with Pat Metheny, Chick Corea and Sting all featured composers, the band storms its way through some spectactular arrangements.
