After many years working together as a musical team, comes the long-awaited album with the Norwegian jazz vocalist Karin Krog and her regular accompanying trio 'The Meantimes'. Krog is one of Europe's leading jazz vocalists and her career has spanned more than 50 years, including recordings for ECM, Polydor, Enja and her own label, Meantime.

Joining her on 'Oslo Calling' are guest soloists John Surman (who makes a rare appearance on the tenor saxophone on one track), Jan-Erik Kongshaug, best-known as one of the world's leading recording engineers but here playing guitar on one track, flugelhorn player Roy Nikolaisen and alto saxophonist Frode Nymo. They perform a programme which mixes standards and original compositions, all interpreted in Krog's own inimitable vocal style.
