Debut release from the young talented vocalist Cathrine Legardh. She is a young fragile woman with a big voice like "one of the red hot mamas". She has chosen tunes from the American songbook, she also sings "Once Upon A Summertime" - Monica Zetterlund's big success - and she salutes Charlie Parker with "Confirmation" and "Now's The Time". Cathrine is accompanied by award winning Scottish pianist Brian Kellock, Jacob Fischer on guitar and Hugo Rasmussen on bass. Additionally, Tom McEwan plays washboard on one track and Francesco Cali accordion on two tracks.
