Pianist Brad Mehldau and tenor sax player Joel Frahm met at high schoolbut have taken until now to finally record together. Mehldau's slow burning desterity is the perfect compliment to Frahm hard grooving horn, neither ever giving into orgiastic virtuosity. Rather they intertwine and build solid foundations to weave their magic.
