Her music retains the full essence of Louisiana Zydeco-rocking and bluesy accordion and a deep rootsy soul along with all the elements that can mark her out for wider acceptance-strong and individualistic songwriting, a sweet but bluesy singing style and the addition of contemporary musical elements.
