Inspired by the recent book by Billy Bragg, "Roots, Radicals And Rockers" this 60 tracker traces this vitally influential form of music so popular in Britain in the 50s. It drew on influences from US Jazz, Country and Blues musics and was key to paving the way for the British Blues invasion of the early 1960s. We include virtually all of the tracks discussed in Bragg's book.
