About
Jazz guitarist Hall’s three albums for CTI, dating from 1975 and 1984. Amongst the sidesmen on ‘Concierto’ are Paul Desmond, Steve Gadd and Chet Baker. ‘Big Blues’ is a collaboration with Art Farmer. ‘Studio Trieste’ again is a partnership, this time with Chet Baker and Hubert Laws. Hall sadly died in his sleep in 2013, a few days after his 83rd birthday. Digitally remastered and slipcased. Extensive new notes.
