Air sculptures is the last chapter of a trilogy dedicated to Ornette Coleman’s music, began in 2004 (Peace Warriors/Black Saint), followed in 2006 (Forgotten Children/Black Saint) completed now with this homage to Free Jazz (Atlantic), the composition/ improvisation by the double quartet that Coleman recorded in 1960. Complete the recording a series of Coleman’s compositions played by some of the performers of the suite in different settings.
