Tunisian oud master Anouar Brahem's second recording for ECM is another category-defying masterpiece, blending elements of tradition and the new. He invites two Turkish musicians into his soundworld, ney player Kudsi Erguner, from the Sufi tradition, and clarinettist Barbaros Erkse, an exponent of Romany gypsy music.
