This is the second CD which these two artists have recorded together, the first being on the Portuguese Clean Feed label. Both guitarists have composed for the project and both have radically different approaches. Sharp often provides concrete jumping off points for improvisations and Fields provides ambiguous mixtures of written material that can be broadly interpreted and improvised.
