ACT
Founded in 1992 by Siggi Loch, who realized his dream of an independent jazz label after a successful career as President of WEA Europe, ACT has since released more than 600 albums and become a driving force in shaping the European and international jazz landscape.
From groundbreaking projects like Jazzpaña and Europeana to the rise of Scandinavian stars such as e.s.t. and Nils Landgren, and today’s leading voices including Michael Wollny, Vincent Peirani, Emile Parisien, and Johanna Summer, ACT has always embraced jazz as an open attitude—connecting cultures, styles, and generations. With its releases, the concert series Jazz at Berlin Philharmonic, and The ACT Agency, the label has built a unique ecosystem for artists.
