EVANS UV EQ4 coated bass drumheads combine the controlled low-end rumble and focused attack of EQ4s with the unrivaled durability of UV. Featuring a single ply of 10mil film and an internal overtone control ring, this head has a controlled low-end rumble and focused attack, plus the unmatched durability of EVANS UV coating. Overall, UV EQ4 bass batters have moderate attack and sustain, with a slightly darker tone. This coated drumhead also features Level 360 Technology.
The UV EQ4 Bass series features the same patented UV-cured coating and durable single-ply 10mil film from the UV1 series with the addition of a fixed internal overtone control ring to reduce sustain and focus the tonal response of the drum.
