The Erato Story

Following the rebirth of the Erato label in 2013, this series of reissues offers a retrospective of the label's landmark recordings made between 1953 and 2003.

A number of performances are released for the first time on CD – including Marie-Claire Alain's 1954 Bach album, Caplet's rarely-heard Épiphanie played by cellist Frédéric Lodéon, and Magda Tagliaferro's delightful album 'Le Piano Français de Chabrier à Debussy'.
