Antonio Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons was published 300 years ago; 30 years ago, members of the Berliner Philharmoniker founded the Berliner Barock Solisten – and it was precisely these violin concertos that featured on their first CD recording. To mark this double anniversary, the ensemble and Daishin Kashimoto, 1st concertmaster of the Berliner Philharmoniker, invite you to rediscover this almost “too” famous cycle in all its shades of mood.
