Renaud Capuçon has dedicated this new album to the French Romantic composer Ernest Chausson, pairing the composer’s Concerto for Violin, Piano and String Quartet, Op. 21 (with Nicholas Angelich and Quatuor Ébène) with his Poème for violin and orchestra. The programme was recorded live with Stéphane Denève and the Brussels Philharmonic in 2020. This album is also a tribute to the late Nicholas Angelich, released in honour of the anniversary of his passing on 18 April 2022.
