bastille musique presents its thirty-fifth release, featuring world premiere recordings by Ensemble Nikel, WDR Sinfonieorchester and Peter Rundel (conductor). The album contains Sarah Nemtsov’s complete Tzimtzum cycle (2020-2023) for soloist ensemble and orchestra, which consists of the four parts Reshimot (2020), Sh'vira (2020), Tikkun (2021) and K'lipot (2023).

The WDR recordings are complemented by a 48-page bilingual booklet (EN, DE) with texts by Dirk Wieschollek, an interview with the composer and several score pages, a picture card of a drawing by Elisabeth Naomi Reuter as well as two concertina-fold inserts with photos of the composer and the performers during the recordings.
