About

Grammy®-winning French composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist Victor Le Masne presents his personal tribute and take on Ravel in this 150th anniversary year since the composer’s birth with a new album as part of our acclaimed ‘Recomposed’ series. Le Masne reached a global audience of billions as the Composer and Musical Director of the Paris 2024 Olympic & Paralympic Games and is a major figure on the French contemporary music scene. He is a star of the brand of house music known as French Touch and moves between the musical worlds of jazz, classical, metal and electro-pop.

In this 12-track Ravel Recomposed album he presents reimaginings of orchestral, operatic, chamber and piano classics. He includes features by singer, songwriter, choreographer, and producer Rahim C Redcar (Christine and the Queens) on Boléro, of cellist Camille Thomas on Chanson hébraïque, and with pianist Julius Asal on Jeux d’eau.
