bastille musique presents its thirty-fourth release »Pierre Boulez: Éclat-Multiples« featuring new studio recordings by Collegium Novum Zürich, Ensemble Contrechamps and Michael Wendeberg (conductor).
The album combines two key works by Boulez: sur Incises (1996-1998) and Éclat/Multiples (1964-1970), with Éclat included in two different versions and Multiples expanded by the world premiere recording of a fragment. The recordings, co-produced with SRF, are supplemented by a 72-page trilingual booklet (EN, FR, DE) containing an essay by Johannes Knapp, an interview with Michael Wendeberg, several autograph pages and two concertina-fold inserts with photos of the composer and of the artists at the recording sessions.
