Awards and reviews

October 2024

The recording gets off to a sparkling start with Paër’s ‘De che ciglio’ from his Leonora. Granner’s alert, open tone immediately captivates as he declares his love for the heroine, supported by the transparent glittering sounds of the orchestra.

December 2024

The final number is the longest of all, Mozart’s concert aria Misero! O sogno, o son desto?, where Granner portrays the regret and despair of the unnamed character (a prisoner, like Florestano) with a marvellous intensity. I enjoyed listening to this intelligently chosen sequence.
